What acrylic solid surface is.

Acrylic solid surface is a sheet of acrylic resin blended with mineral fillers and pigments. The colour runs through the full thickness, so a cut edge, a routed groove or a cut-out shows the same colour as the face.

Pieces can be joined so the seam is hard to see, and the sheet can be shaped. That is why it is chosen for kitchen counters, vanity tops and integrated basins, reception desks, bar tops, display counters, tables and wall cladding. Forty colours, two thicknesses.

• WhitesPure White, Snow Pearl and soft off-whites.
• Warm neutralsCreams and sands such as Beige Cream, Irish Cream and Beige Sands.
• GreysFrom pale Fog to Metal Grey and Grey Ash.
• Deep tonesEspresso, Night Sky, Dark Cave and Onyx.
• Bold coloursMango, Sunset, Aquamarine and Emerald Sherbet.

Within these tones the surface is plain, finely speckled or patterned with granite-look chips. The 6 mm sheet is 2500 × 760 mm, about 20.45 sq ft. The 12 mm sheet is 3680 × 760 mm, about 30 sq ft. Some shades are made in 12 mm only.
