Choosing a wall

How to choose

Start with the room and what the wall has to do. A living room TV wall usually gets relief and lines: fluted panels, stone or texture. A bedroom headboard wall wants softness: fabric, cork or cane. Reception walls are where people go bolder, with backlit stone, liquid metal or a custom panel.

Then think about light. Texture and relief show up under grazing light; backlit panels need space behind them; gloss and mirror reflect the room back. Finally, see the materials together. Every wall finish in the range is on display at the Experience Centre in Choolai, so you can set stone against wood and fabric before you decide.

If you are matching an existing room, bring a photo or a sample of the floor and furniture finishes. Seeing the wall beside them is the surest way to judge colour and texture.

Questions

Before
you choose

Which interior wall materials does Inlife carry?

Stone veneer, backlit panels, PU, fluted, textured and printed panels, solid wood, cork, fabric, cane, acrylic and solid surface, faux leather, liquid metal, mirror and Corten steel, mouldings and beadings, and artificial grass walls.

What is the difference between fluted and textured wall panels?

Fluted panels carry regular vertical grooves in straight lines. Textured panels carry a pattern or carved relief across the whole surface.

How is Stone Skin different from PU stone panels?

Stone Skin is a thin veneer of real stone. PU panels are polyurethane moulded to look like stone. They differ in look, feel and where each suits, and both are on display side by side.

Can I see these before ordering?

Yes. The full range is on display at the Inlife Experience Centre, 2 Baker Street, Choolai. Visit Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm, or arrange a time.

Do you work with specifiers and contractors?

Yes. Specifiers get sample boxes, catalogues on WhatsApp and specification sheets on request, and samples can be sent to offices in Chennai for viewing.
