Material guide
Choosing a façade
People see an elevation from the street and from the gate, in morning and evening light. The cladding you choose is the first thing they notice when they arrive.
The façade range
- Stone veneer
- Thin sheets of real stone for entrances and elevations.
- Clay stone finish, clay textures and flexible brick
- Flexible clay-based finishes in stone, textured and brick looks.
- Polyclay cladding and slim tiles
- Clay-look panels and slim tiles for compound walls and lobbies.
- PU stone panels
- Stone-look panels with deep relief for elevations and boundary walls.
- 3D stone panels
- Sculpted panels that add shadow and relief.
- Exterior fluted panels
- Wood-grain WPC panels with deep vertical grooves.
- Exterior timber tubes
- Timber-look tubes for screens, pergolas and sunshades.
- Natural wood cladding
- Real timber cladding for façades and outdoor rooms.
How to choose
Look at the elevation as a whole. Stone and clay look solid and heavy; timber and fluted panels add wood tones and vertical lines; tubes and screens filter light and give privacy. Many good façades combine two: a stone base with timber above, or clay walls with a timber-tube screen.
Think about how the material looks from across the street and at arm's length. Bring the elevation drawing or a photo of the building to the Experience Centre in Choolai, and compare full panels side by side.
Questions
Before
you choose
Which façade cladding materials does Inlife carry?
Stone veneer, clay stone finish, clay textures, flexible brick, polyclay cladding, slim tiles, PU stone panels, 3D stone panels, exterior fluted panels, exterior timber tubes and natural wood cladding.
What is flexible clay cladding?
A thin, clay-based finish that can follow curves and columns, in stone, textured and brick looks.
Which façade cladding should I shortlist?
It depends on the look and the wall. Clay, stone veneer, timber and louvers read very differently. Bring your elevation and compare them side by side.
Can I see these before ordering?
Yes. The full range is on display at the Inlife Experience Centre, 2 Baker Street, Choolai. Visit Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm, or arrange a time.
Do you work with specifiers and contractors?
Yes. Specifiers get sample boxes, catalogues on WhatsApp and specification sheets on request, and samples can be sent to offices in Chennai for viewing.
