A guide to carpet planks
Carpet planks are long, narrow carpet tiles, 25 x 100 cm. The plank shape lets you lay carpet the way you would lay timber, in herringbone, brick or ashlar patterns, and run colour through a floor.
What they are
Planks are 5 to 6 mm thick, with a pile of polypropylene, PET or nylon. The face has a brushed diagonal hatch that catches the light.
