Material guide
A guide to carpet rolls
Carpet rolls are broadloom carpet made in wide rolls, used to cover a room wall to wall with few seams. They suit rooms that want a soft, continuous floor: banquet halls, home theatres and bedrooms.
What they are
The carpet is polypropylene, 5 to 10 mm thick, in a range of plain colours and patterned loop designs.
Colours
Plain colours include beige, camel, brown, ash grey, light grey, grey, dark grey, black, deep blue and maroon. The patterned loop roll collection adds five designs with a woven pattern.
Where it suits
- Banquet halls
- Large, continuous floors.
- Home theatres
- Deep colours for a dark, quiet room.
- Bedrooms
- A soft floor from wall to wall.
Rolls, tiles or planks?
Rolls give one continuous surface. Carpet tiles and planks come in separate pieces, so colour and pattern can change across a floor.
Choosing
Bring a photo of the room or the drawings to the Experience Centre in Choolai, Chennai, and we will set the options out side by side. Samples can also be sent to offices in Chennai for viewing.
